Connector ∅18 KIWI

Connector Fi-18 KIWI is one of the components of the KIWI mounting system, available in two length variants. It works together with the KIWI clamp bracket — passing through it, it allows the central, pull-out part of the mattress to rotate and fold away into the sofa's frame box. The tube is inserted into the straight bracket 55x55x2, which is screwed to the furniture, ensuring a stable fit of the entire mechanism.

How the KIWI system works

Thanks to the KIWI system, the mattress folds away under the seat, letting the sofa turn into a comfortable sleeping space whenever needed. The 1500mm variant is used in the Sofa Frame Duo KIWI, and the 750mm variant in the Sofa Frame Single KIWI.
